In 2014, with the widespread adoption of Electronic Health Record technologies and the subsequent digital revolution in healthcare, Ambient Clinical Analytics recognized the problems created for providers in finding patient information quickly, and that these problems would lead to preventable medical errors as well as physician and nurse burnout. Ambient also understood there was an opportunity for healthcare organizations to leverage new technologies to deliver point-of-care diagnostics and clinical command center style solutions specifically designed to reduce cognitive load on both physicians and nurses.Ambient Clinical partnered with Mayo to launch Ambient Clinical Analytics and the AWARE™ family of point-of-care diagnostics and clinical command center solutions, developed by clinicians for clinicians. Since then, Ambient has become a trusted provider of remote and point-of-care analytics and data visualization solutions that provide real-time monitoring of vital process of care information for healthcare providers around the world. Ambient’s AWARE™ software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) point-of-care solutions stand alone in their ability to reduce costs and errors, save lives, improve the patient experience, and create provider efficiency.
